He came down to Tegus to dance on the water and roll in the warm, moist grasses. But when he arrived, he found he could not find the beauty of the moonlight at night, because he was not in the sky. He could not find the cool breezes, or the softened arms of the trees. They were either burdened by the brightness of day, or hidden by the blackness of night. Indeed it was his light in the night sky that provided the solitude and peace that he sought. The quiet reflections on the on the rivers and lakes, the soft grey grays of the passing clouds.
It was this realization that gave him the meaning of his existence. For while he was alone in his home in the sky, it was his solitude that gave the warmth in the darkness and light to others. And yet, he could never experience it for himself. So, he returned to the sky forever, and held his tortured loneliness to himself, with the knowledge of the beauty his light gives to others. This is why we dance in the moonlight, to share with him the wonder he brings.
